But what is cohousing after all?
There is some information on this topic on the website, but much more interesting will be to start with a small but suggestive video – “WHAT IS A HOME?” – of a community already established in Canada (our special thanks to BELTERRA COHOUSING – British Columbia in their courtesy for allowing us to play the video) which illustrates in a very clear way its true meaning.
This project aims to raise awareness of an alternative form of housing and a proactive approach to “community building”. Its identifying elements are, in summary, as follows:
Diversity
Environmental & ecological concerns (Eco)
New build & private ownership
